一 |     8月25日消息，Windows XP迎来25周年纪念日，在2001年8月24日，微软将Windows XP正式交付给PC厂商预装，同年10月25日正式零售。     微软当时称其为“有史以来最重要的Windows版本”，25年后回头看，这个说法并不夸张。    Windows XP是Windows历史上一个关键转折点，在此之前，微软的操作系统主要分为两大阵营：针对企业市场、采用NT核心的Windows 2000，以及针对消费市场、基于MS-DOS核心的Windows 98与Me。    Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared a heartfelt message for cricketer Andre Russell after he announced his retirement as a player from the Indian Premier League. Russell, who has been one of the most loved players of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), posted a video on social media on Sunday, confirming his decision to step away from playing. His announcement left fans emotional, but it also marked the beginning of a new chapter for him within the same team.     Soon after Andre Russell shared his retirement video, Shah Rukh Khan responded with a touching note filled with respect, love, and admiration. Russell, who has been associated with KKR for several years, will now take up a different role as the team’s power coach.     Shah Rukh wrote, “Thank you for the wonderful memories, Andre. Our Knight in shining armour!!! Your contribution to @KKRiders is one for the books…”          He continued to praise the all-rounder for the energy and passion he brought to the field, calling him a key part of the team’s identity. Writing about Russell’s shift to coaching, the actor added, “And here’s to another chapter in your fantastic journey as a sportsman… The power coach - passing down the wisdom, the muscle and of course the power down to our boys in purple and gold… And yes, any other jersey would indeed look weird on you my man... While the cricketer was released by KKR recently after a dip in performance numbers, he still remains one of the most impactful players in IPL history. Fans warmly call him “Muscle Russell” for his powerful batting and unforgettable match-winning moments.     Meanwhile, Shah Rukh was last seen in the films Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. He also made a cameo in his son Aryan Khan’s debut series The Ba*ds of Bollywood”**. SRK is currently shooting for King, directed by Siddharth Anand, also starring his daughter Suhana Khan, actor Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the key roles.ALso Read: Photos: Shah Rukh Khan Teases a Raw and Rugged Look in Aryan Khan’s New Video。    Windows XP则首次将消费级和商业级操作系统统一到Windows NT内核上，实现了企业级稳定度与消费级易用性的整合，XP之后，Windows只剩一条主线，这个架构延续至今。     回看XP，它标志性的蓝天白云壁纸、蓝色的任务栏、开机音效、Luna主题，都带来了前所未有的PC使用体验。         XP的生命周期也长得惊人，Windows Vista在2007年接棒，Windows 7在2009年接力，但XP始终不肯退场。    微软一直为XP提供支持到2014年4月8日，距离发布过去了将近13年，直到支持结束的最后几个月，全球仍有近30%的PC运行这款系统。     对于80后和90后一代来说，Windows XP是他们人生中第一台电脑上的操作系统，那时候电脑和Windows几乎是同义词，大多数人甚至不知道还有其他操作系统可选     如今距离Windows XP推出已过去四分之一个世纪，距离终止支持也过了12年，但在全球许多地区的ATM提款机、医疗仪器、工业控制系统甚至是部分老旧的电脑里，依然能看到熟悉的界面。
